The Heart Isn't Just For Lovin'!

 As society moves in a more green direction and aims to achieve healthier lifestyles, replacing coffee and soda with tea is one of the many ways we can all ensure a healthier heart.  Over 7,000,000 Americans are currently suffering from heart disease.  Last year approximately 1,000,000 Americans died from heart disease, stroke, heart attacks, and other related problems.
So what can we do to make sure we have the healthiest heart possible besides becoming bionic people?  Well, repeat after me: "Tea drinkers are healthier than non-tea drinkers. I should drink delicious organic tea. I need to find my car keys and drive to TEAlicious immediately and relax over a nice, steaming hot cup of tea!" 

All joking aside, several studies suggest that those of us who drink 2-3 cups of black or green tea daily are 56% more likely than non-drinkers to survive a heart attack. At the American College of Cardiology 50th Annual Scientific Session this year, several studies found that heart attacks among study participants who drank 3 cups or more of black tea daily were lowered by 11%.
Some of the many health benefits of tea confirmed by modern research link tea drinkers to having improved blood vessel function, lowered bad cholesterol levels, reduced risk of heart disease, and increased capacity of human plasma.  Tea also contains very powerful antioxidants called catechins.  These catechins are more effective at fighting free radicals that build up in our body than vitamins A, C, E AND beta-carotene!  So, what's the overall bottom line here?  It's simple, tea drinkers better their chances at living life with a healthier heart!  So sit down and relax and drink TEA to improve your life!
